Optime Back to Optime

Terms of Service

Effective 6 October 2026

In short: you pay monthly, you can cancel any time, Optime looks after your laptop, and you can undo anything it does. These terms set out the details.

These terms are an agreement between you and Srikanth Ambidi, trading as Aparamb, Hyderabad, Telangana, India (“we”, “us”), the maker of Optime. By buying, installing or using Optime you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Optime.

What Optime is

Optime is an app for Windows 10 and Windows 11 that runs in the system tray and looks after your laptop automatically. It manages background programs, services and startup items, and reports on your laptop's health. Anything Optime ends can be brought back from the Review tab. Optime doesn't uninstall programs or delete your files.

Buying Optime

Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel any time. Optime keeps working until the end of the month you've paid for. Our Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how to cancel and when you can get your money back.

Your license

While your subscription is active, we give you a personal, non-transferable license to use Optime on the number of computers your plan covers. You may:

You may not:

Optime and everything in it remain ours. Buying a plan gives you the right to use the app, not ownership of it.

License checks and internet

Optime checks your license with our reseller when you activate it, and at least once every 7 days after that. Without internet it keeps running on its built-in rules, but it needs to reach the license check at least once every 7 days to stay active. AI mode sends limited information about background programs to our server. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what is sent and where.

Your responsibilities

Updates and availability

We may release updates to fix problems, improve Optime or keep up with changes in Windows. We aim to keep the license and AI services running at all times, but we can't promise they'll never be interrupted.

Warranty

We build Optime carefully and test it before each release. Even so, it's provided “as is”: we don't promise it will be error-free or suit every computer. This doesn't affect any rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

Limit of liability

As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost data, lost profits or lost time. Our total liability to you for anything to do with Optime is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Ending your access

We may suspend or end your license if you seriously break these terms, for example by sharing your license key publicly. If we stop offering Optime altogether, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice and refund any time you've paid for but can't use.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top. For important changes, we'll tell you by email or in the app before they apply. If you keep using Optime after that, the new terms apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, unless your local consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
